Like the many aspects or each person’s life, my artwork is multi-faceted. As the sculptures are rotated slightly, new shapes begin to come into view of a different yet complimentary theme. This helps create a flowing, rhythmic feel to my art. The images chosen are personal symbols that tie in with humanity and the earth.

A brief description of techniques include, slip cast, hand built, or traditional sculptural techniques using a solid cube or chunk of clay and from that, shaping the form. I etch and carve images and then fire the work at various temperatures. Each piece is hand glazed and fired again at a low temperature. In the final state, I use acrylic and oil base stains.
